Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Salazar Gamarra is a Health Technology Innovation Consultant awarded by the MIT Technology Review as Humanitarian Innovator 2018 for Latin America for his actions as director, treasurer and researcher of the "Instituto Mais Identidade (+ID)" in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which is a non-profit “Public Interest Civil Organization” that rehabilitates low-income people with facial cancer scars. He is the president of the Peruvian chapter "Más Identidad Perú"; He is a volunteer in the Digital Transformation Laboratory of the Digital Government Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) of Peru; He is a Renacyct Level III Researcher. He is a Ph.D. and MSc. from the Paulista University (UNIP). Volunteer associate researcher at the Technological Center of the Renato Archer Institute (CTI), which is a public entity of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations of Brazil. Voluntary advisor in technological innovation and Maxillofacial Rehabilitation for the OREMA Foundation in Santiago de Chile, allied to the National Cancer Institute of Chile. He served as Past-President of the International Association of Anaplastology (IAA) 2020-2021 and current Vice President of the Latin American Society of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation (rBMF) 2018-2024. He has received the category of “Honorary Member 2020” of the Mexican College of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and also “Honor of Merit” by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Paraná for his research with decontaminating agents during COVID-19, 2020. He is a Research Professor at the Southern Scientific University. Teacher in postgraduate continuing education courses at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, teaching: Artificial Intelligence for University Teachers and Specialized Medical 3D Printing. Teacher in the elective course on digital planning in dentistry at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences. He is Co-founder and CEO of M3D, a social company for virtual planning and medical 3D printing, co-founder of e-Clinic, co-founder of Rehabilite-me and Co-founder of Rehabilitación Bucomaxillofacial Perú. He has a specialized clinical practice in Lima and São Paulo.
